Two highlights that you have to own Vigor2200 series Broadband Router.
With the Port Redirection function, Vigor2200 series DSL/Cable Router enable to for
ward an ncoming/outgoing packet of VoIP gateway through a particular port to a
specified local computer. This means, the users of Vigor2200 series can give
international/long-distance rings with the same price as local calls.
McDonald in Taiwan is going to adopt Vigor 2200X as a connection to an ADSLmodem
for broadband Internet, with another connection to an hub which will connect the second
ADSL modem as the back-up ADSL broadband access.
The Vigor2200X can activate the second ADSL line or the redundant leased line as
backup line while the first ADSL line is dropped or not sufficient for heavy traffic need.
The "Load balance" mechanism allows the balanced traffic between the first ADSL line
and the backup ADSL line (second ADSL line).
